Tour dates: Rock The Bells goes wide

black star

That headline may be a bit misleading, because sadly, I do not bring news that the jaw-dropping lineup for this year’s Rock The Bells festival is going on the road. Rather, as a consolation prize for those of us not in New York, L.A., San Francisco or Boston, a select  few of the full-album performances going down at the festival will be taken on the road. According to promoter Gorilla Union:

The first tour will kick off with Wu-Tang Clan members, Raekwon and Ghostface performing Only Built 4 Cuban Linx as well as fellow east-coast artists Mobb Deep performing their 1995 classic, The Infamous . Tickets are on-sale now. The reunited Black Star (Mos Def and Talib Kweli) will also hit the road performing their critically acclaimed album,  Mos Def & Talib Kweli are Black Star. Tickets go on-sale Friday, July 22 at 10am local time via LiveNation.com.

Considering that Def and Kweli’s reunion was one of the big stories coming out of this year’s lineup, them taking it on the road is quite the silver medal. Dates for each stop below:
