Portland-based pop-everything weirdos Unknown Mortal Orchestra have announced a fall tour behind their quickly rising self-titled debut LP. Though there’s an inclination to always cite Captain Beefheart behind music like this, in that it’s weird, seemingly incomprehensible and gleeful all the while, the comparison really does hold up. Their debut single “Ffunny Ffrends” speaks to this; “Ffrends” is a burst of psychadelia wrapped in childlike naivete. Check it, along with the tour dates, below:
