Cassette tapes have gone the way of laserdisc. They hide in our closets, waiting to be rediscovered and reminisced over whilst at your parents house. Dinosaur Jr.’s career was made on cassette tape and they intend keeping it that way. The band’s classic 1998 album Bug is being reissued June 21 in its original cassette tape form. They’re only selling 250 copies of this cassette reissue, 125 through pre-sale on Joyful Noise Recordings and the remaining 125 on tour where they’ll be playing Bug in its entirety.
