For metal heads and grindcore kids Chicago can be a difficult town. While we have a fantastic rock and electronic scene, fans must search out the handful of excellent bands that we do have locally and find the acts that tour here. Scion A/V is back in town and ready to pepper the scene with some excellent grindcore and metal for those who follow it’s heaviness to the heavens. Their new series, Scion Metal Matinee, is dedicated to bringing the best metal, grindcore, hardcore, and heavy bands to cities across the US. All free to fans. This time around they’re bringing DC act Magrudergrind to Reggie’s Rock Club for a free show with Mind Eraser and Noisear.
