This morning, they announced that their eighth studio album, The King of Limbs, will be released though their website this coming Saturday, February 19th. This is similar to the release of their 2008 release In Rainbows, but the primary difference is that this time, people will have to pay for the record, instead of the pay-as-you-go plan that they previously employed.

For $9 you get an MP3 download, or for the audiophiles, a WAV (CD quality) download will cost $14. And then there’s the $48 special edition, which comes with a CD, download, two 10-inch vinyl records and accompanying artwork. For those of you who’re willing to hold out, the band have partnered with XL to release the physical album on March 28th.
